Spring is in the air.

I love Spring, it's my favourite time of year, not too hot, not too cold and the garden and farms are springing into life (excuse the pun). I also think it has something to do with growing up on a farm, I loved helping with the lambs and calves that come at this time of year.

Today our baby had to have her 3 month old immunisations, I really hate having to take her to the doctors but hey it has to be done and although she screamed at the time she's been really good since and is having a huge sleep, so I've taken the time to make a birthday card for the boys 3rd birthday that our Miss 3yr old is attending this weekend. I also took it as a chance to do a colour challenge this one from
Dynamic Duos.

Here is my creation using Stampin' Up!s "Make a Monster" stamp set:

I also wanted to share my first effect with Project Life. I discovered Project Life at SENZ this year, just 3 days after my third daughter was born and feel in love with the concept immediately. With three girls under the age of 5 I just don't have the time to do the scrapbooking layouts that I was doing, at least not for everyday life but I hate just popping photo's in the run of your mill album without any journeying (cos lets face it, that never happens) so this fits with my life. I can have my photo's at the ready to be viewed but still get to journal and embellish them and I really am loving it. It's got my creative juices flowing again, where I had almost given up on the idea of scrapbooking and had turned to just making cards. Here's a look at my first couple of pages.

I love that I can combine all my Stampin Up and other products with Project Life, now I just need to find more time to sit down and get this years album up-to-date...

I'm back....

I know it's been a really long time, but I'm back and am going to try to get the hang of this blogging thing. Our beautiful baby number 3 is now 12 weeks old, our third little princess we named Sophie and we just love her to bits. Sophie has completed our family just nicely and her big sisters are besotted with her.

So today I have my BFF over to do some scrapbooking and she done a lot more blogging than I have so I'm going to get her to help we upload the scrapbook layout I've done for the "spots &/or stripes" Southern Girls Challenge, also the first time I've done a challenge.
